Occupation: Is a noble lady, has been at the convent learning the arts of being a proper lady. Has no occupation as of yet as she is a lady in waiting.

Description:

Height:  Is slightly short for her age, although she does not let this stop her from looking good in a gown when others of her height may look less elegant.

Facial appearance: she has a long determined face, her chin showing signs of stubborn-ness. Her full red lips and pretty smile accent her pale skin.

Body: Julia has a curvy body, she isn’t fat yet she isn’t thin. Her bosom is bigger than she likes for a girl of her age, although she is happy that she can wear dresses that girls with less assets cannot wear, thinks this will help her chances in finding a suiter.

Eyes: Her eyes are green with a hint of mud brown appearing in them. Her hair is that of a dark ginger, light brown, which sets of her eyes perfectly.

In General: Although attractive when she is at a party or an outing, once she has her ,makeup and gowns off she looks like an ordinary girl, only real beautiful features being her lips and eyes.

Clothes: Julia spends almost all of her time in a gown of some kind; wither it be a ball gown for court or a light day to day gown for her home life. She only wears breeches and a blouse when she is out practicing her archery or the other weaponry knowledge needed to be known by any lady wishing to one day be one of the Queens ladies. Although when out practicing she seems to spend more time on the ground or picking up stray arrows.

Personality: Julia is very proper when around people of status, has been taught the way a lady who is looking for a husband should act. She is naturally kind of heart but keeps her thoughts to herself unless asked by someone. Once she gets too see how a person really is she will then make her decision on them, has learned from her own home life that first impressions are nothing. Loves to go riding and loves horses, would be happy to spend all her days with them instead of the courtly business her parents expect her to do. Julia is very quick witted and is already ready to make a joke with people she feels will take the joke lightly unlike many nobles.

Strengths: She is very strong minded and feels this is a quality all women should have, no matter who they are or no matter what status they hold. Has a way with horses and archery. Finds both relaxing and loves to spend her free time doing both. With her sister being blind she has had to learn to work around that in ways that will help her with communication and such.

Weaknesses: Julia is the kind of girl who will bottle up her feelings and this can lead to an inevitable over spill on her temper gage. She has yet to learn that she has a voice and she is permitted to use it even when she is trying to be a lady and a would be wife. Isn’t as graceful as she would like after life in the convent. Cannot use the weapons she wants to learn to one day be a Queens lady, even has shot one of her families mean at arms in the foot.

 Has been trying to learn sign language to talk with her friend from the convent properly except she hasn’t the knack for it and finds it hard to remember which causes problems for her when with her friend.

History: Born a noble daughter and was brought up as one, always doing as a noble girl should and then attending the convent when she turned 11 to learnt he proper ways of a lady of Tortall and to hopefully be a credit to her family and find a husband. Although this isn’t what she always wanted, and even at times now doesn’t want the life of a lady.

She had a very quiet childhood, her brothers being so much older than her left for the palace when she was young so she was brought up by her nurse maid mostly. Likes living the life of a lady now and meeting new people as she didn’t get to see a lot of people while growing up, was sad when she left the convent as she made many great friends. She is now in Corus and working towards one of her final goals, a goal she will be happy to reach to mark it off her list.

Ashamed of: Her lack of being able to speak what is on her mind to the people that need to hear it. Her uselessness with weaponry such as her bow.

Why is your char unique? : She is a court Lady who wishes she was back in the convent learning the stuff than being out practicing it. Wants a family with none of the hastle of being tied down as she one day wishes to be good enough to be choose as a Queens’s lady.

Why is your char at the little court: Julia is at the little court as it is her duty to show herself to would be suitors, also likes to relax with a friendly atmosphere but is mostly there as it is what Ladies do and she isn’t about to change that.
