Abaddón Cassidy (Abaddón Ó Caisideach  )(First name meaning “the destroyer”)

Age:  17 (In his third year)

Date and place of birth: July 12^th  1989 in a small village in co. Cork Has a very strong Irish accent and is known to start at random and talk in his own language knowing that not many of the students will understand a thing he is saying about them.

Affiliation: Nightwalker. Why be nice and kind when you can walk in the night and be yourself, truly walk with those who make a difference, even if it is the differences that can affect us in bad ways.

Family: His family still live in Cork

Mother- Kathleen (Manager in a small bank, which he tried to rob a few times)

Father- Podraig (Is a brick layer, normal trade man)

Brother- Oisín ( Is 12 years old, attending a normal secondary school in their local town)

Sister- Orlaígh (6 years old, currently in her first year of primary school)

Magic: His single power is the ability to duplicate himself.

Appearance:  He is a tall boy, standing at almost 6ft, he finds himself at times sticking out in a crowd, something he would rather not do.

 He has dark blonde hair, quite long in style, is able to tie it back with a hair tie. Is in his experimenting stage with a small goatee. 

He slender form doesn’t make him a popular choice with the opposite sex, much to his pleasure. With little muscle or a look of work on him would seem almost geeky, however this could not be more wrong. Has found that the more he exercises he seems to have to share it with all his duplicates which gives the impression that he is in no way strong.

Is usually seem wearing a pair of worn and dirty jeans and some kind of football shirt or some plain black shirt with some rude remark written on it, for him comfort is everything, especially when you make duplicates.

Personality: Abaddón seems like a quiet boy when he is first met, however this isn’t the case. He is a nightwalker and as such uses his power to work with what he is. Isn’t a nice boy in the slightest, with his multiple selfs also comes multiple personalities, adding to the darkness of him as each part of him is darker and bolder than the last, down to the one in the middle which could become truly evil if he ever figured out how to duplicate himself to his last form.

Many people don’t see the point in speaking to him as he ignores most people and when feeling like it can change his dominant personality to tell them what he truly thinks of things around him, more often than not getting him into trouble or causing more people to wonder about the actual kind of boy he is.

He is a mean and selfish boy, he doesn’t care about anyone and especially his family as he sees them sending him here as them abandoning him as they didn’t want to be near him any longer. Uses his resent of his family against those who try and act in some sort of parental role within the school.

History: Knowing he was different from all the other children in his village Abaddón learned to play with himself, and that is in the literal since, he first found out about his powers after being bullied by the local children and found himself creating new friends to play with, even if they were all identical.

After learning to make more than a few copies of himself he began to tire out easily, but with more and more of himself he found himself changing and wanting to try new things, not the normal things that a young boy of ten years old would want. He began to steal from shops, using his other selves to stand under the camera’s while he took what he wanted, this way keeping himself uncaught as he was in view the entire time.

After the children, or teenagers learned of his power they began to use him for their own needs and wants, this using almost gave Abaddón a nasty streak, a mean and cold side to him, a side he locked into one of his duplicates that only seems to emerge after he has made so many copies, it’s this side that scared him family enough to take action into getting help for their son.

 As a boy his parents knew of his gift, with not having gifts themselves they thought it best to send him to a school or place where he would be around people like himself. Trying their hardest to find out  about schools or institutes which would help with their “troubled” son they finally found the academy, hoping this school would keep him off the streets and out of police cells his was sent here to learn to control his powers and hopefully himself at the same time.

Strengths: He can always be in two places at once. With his ability he finds it easy to get away with petty crimes and even on an occasion or two some bigger plans. He is a bright boy, but never uses his brains for the right things, would rather be planning his next kick at robbing a local shop than working on his books.

Weaknesses: The length of time in which he can hold his duplicates. Even with his classes he finds it hard to hold them in place for  any length of proper time. He begins to tire after a few minutes of holding them.

His other weakness is that each of his forms have a different personality and at times it is these different ones that become the main him, leading him to act out at times, to seem different, to break rules instead of staying in the dark and away from people like the proper and should be dominant side of him wants.

Likes: Peace and quiet. Anywhere that he can be alone, to practice his gift, to work on it and become stronger.

Dislikes: People, nosy people. Hates how people poke into his business and what he does. He also hates those goody two shoes people that suck up to the teachers as those people need beat up.
